2006: Sorensen played in all 32 matches and had a team high 22 kills against Alderson-Broaddus, she also hit over .500 in three matches. She had career highs with 5 blocks against Lenoir-Rhyne and 17 digs against King College. Led the team with 394 kills for the season. 2005: Sorensen played in 126 games for the Eagles. She tallied an astonishing 439 kills, 23 service aces, 38 blocks (14 solo, 24 assists) and 175 digs. Sorensen was also named to the SAC All-Conference Team for the 2005 Season. 2004: Had a tremendous freshman season as she garnered All-Conference honors. Sorensen posted 379 kills, 382 digs, and 28 total blocks. 2003: Red-shirted due to ACL reconstruction. High School: Is a three-time All-Conference pick, two-time All-Metro Area Selection, team MVP in 2002 and helped lead her team to the state finals in 2002. Personal: Born on September 9, 1985 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Kelli Retting Sorensen is the daughter of Ken and Karen Sorensen. Kelli has one sister Keri. Kelli is Double Majoring in Mass Communication and Psychology. |
