Kinsler will serve as student assistant for the 2008 season. 2007 (Junior): Played in 59 games...hit .175 on the season...Finished with 34 Block Assists and 9 Block Solos...tallied a season high in the conference quarter finals with 11 kills, 32 attempts and 12 digs in a thrilling 5-game victory over Catawba (11/10)...also recorded 10 kills and only 1 error against Catawba in yet another 5 game victory (11/3)...recorded 5 block assists for a season high against conference foe Lenoir-Rhyne (9/28) 2006 ((Sophomore): Kinsler played 30 games earning 22 kills. She also added 6 assists, 8 digs, and a personal best of 6 blocks against Concord rounding out the season with 14 total blocks. 2005 (Freshman): Kinsler is transferring to CNC from Tusculum College where she completed her freshman year, she was racked in the top 10 in the SAC last season in blocks per game. She played in 97 games while at Tusculum. Kinsler graduated from Daniel Boone High School in Gray, Tennessee where she was the Big 7 Conference Hitter of the Year for two consecutive years as well as earning All-Conference Honors for 2003 and 2004 and earning a spot on the All-Region team in 2003. Personal: Born February 2, 1987 in Johnson City, Tennessee, Vanessa Elizabeth Kinsler is daughter to Jeff and Debbie Kinsler, Vanessa has one sister Sarah (14). Vanessa is a Biology Major. |
