JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Top-seeded Carson-Newman's first round match with eighth-seeded Mars Hill has been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather. The match had been scheduled for this afternoon.

The Lady Eagles will now host Mars Hill on Wednesday in the first round of the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament. The match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Jefferson City.

The winner of Wednesday's match will face the #4 Lincoln Memorial/#5 Wingate winner on Friday at 9 a.m. in Rock Hill, S.C.

Carson-Newman claimed the top seed after posting a perfect 7-0 record during the regular season, en route to winning their first South Atlantic Conference title.
