March 30, 2007 MISENHEIMER, NC-- Carson-Newman women's tennis team lost five out of six singles matches as they fell to Pfeiffer University 6-3. The loss drops the Lady Eagles' overall record to 6-4. Elizabeth Sneed picked up the lone singles win for the Lady Eagles by winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. Sneed and Tessa Caprio earned the #1 doubles win while Amanda Bartlett and Emily Sorah won at #2 doubles. The Lady Eagles return to South Atlantic Conference play at Tusculum on March 21.
