JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.--The Carson-Newman women's tennis team defeated the University of the Cumberlands, 9-0 to earn their first match win of the 2007-08 season.

With the cancellation of the LMU match, this match ends the fall season for the Eagles. The next match is February 16, 2008 against North Greenville College in Jefferson City. Match time is 12 noon.
