Lady Eagles Shutout King, 9-0 - CARSON-NEWMAN OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles swept all three doubles points en route to shutting out King 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the C-N Tennis Complex in Jefferson City.

The #2 doubles tandem of Elizabeth Sneed and Cassie Moulton were pushed to the limit, eventually winning 9-8 in a tiebreaker.

Junior Emily Sorah posted the day's most impressive singles victory, winning 6-0, 6-0 at #4 singles. Freshman Stephanie Douglas also won easily, 6-0, 6-3.

The Lady Eagles improve to 10-1 on the year. C-N wraps up the SAC portion of its schedule on Saturday at Newberry. With a win, the lady Eagles claim the SAC regular-season title outright.
