Hickory, N.C. - The Carson-Newman College Women's Tennis Team (7-1, 4-0) remained undefeated in South Atlantic Conference play as it topped Lenoir-Rhyne College (6-5, 2-3), 7-2, Wednesday afternoon at Jaycee Park in Hickory.

The Lady Eagles took all three doubles matches before winning four of six singles pairings for the final 7-2 tally. Amanda Bartlett (Powder Springs, Ga.) won at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-1) for Carson-Newman while Elizabeth Sneed (Kingsport, Tenn.) claimed victory in No. 3 singles (6-3, 6-1).

The Lady Eagles return to action this afternoon at Pfeiffer.
