MARS HILL, N.C. - The Carson-Newman Lady Eaglges shutout Mars Hill 9-0 in their South Atlantic Conference opener Tuesday afternoon in Mars Hill, North Carolina.

Elizabeth Sneed and Cassie Moulton combined for an 8-0 win at #2 doubles. Sneed would follow with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #3 singles.

The Lady Eagles return to action Friday to host Wingate. The match begins at 3 p.m.
