JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- Carson-Newman head softball coach Vickee Hollifield has announced Brad Davis as C-N Softball assistant coach. Davis, who served as assistant softball coach at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Georgia, the past three seasons, played baseball at Southern Union College in Wadley, Alabama. He will work with the Lady Eagle outfielders and assist Hollifield with recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the softball program. "I'm very excited to have Brad on board with us," Coach Hollifield said. "He was the top candidate on my list and has a great knowledge of the game. He will be a tremendous asset in recruiting and in helping our team continue its success." The Lady Eagles finished 35-16 in 2007 and earned a berth in the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional Tournament.
