ROCK HILL, S.C. - Carson-Newman's Zoe Heim and Mandy Stevens have been named South Atlantic Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Senior pitcher Zoe Heim posted a 4-1 record on the week, with an impressive 0.52 ERA. The Ohio University transfer struck out 38 in 25 innings of work, allowing only 13 hits. She also picked up a save in C-N's 6-3 win over Catawba on Saturday. She is 17-3 on the season.

Senior third baseman Mandy Stevens belted three home runs to help power a 5-1 Lady Eagle week.

The Knoxville native hit a home run in each of C-N's two win over Felician. She added a three-run blast as C-N beat Catawba 6-3 on Saturday. She finished the week with 10 RBIs and nine hits, five for extra bases.

The Lady Eagles will travel to Harrogate, Tennessee to face Lincoln Memorial on Saturday.

South Atlantic Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week honors are voted on by the league's eight sports information directors.
