JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- The undefeated Carson-Newman men's and women's soccer teams are among the best teams in their respective regions according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America region polls.

The Carson-Newman men have been ranked second in the NSCAA Appalachian Region poll while the Lady Eagles are ranked first in the latest NSCAA Southeast Region poll. Both teams posted 3-0 records this past week as the Lady Eagles defeated Concord, Queens University, and Pfeiffer while the men won their matches against Montreat, Alderson-Broaddus, and Salem International.

The men will host WVIAC foe Charleston on Friday, September 7 at McCown Field while the women will travel to Columbus, Georgia to take on Armstrong Atlantic State.
