JEFFERSON CITY, TN-- Senior forward Rebecca Angus has earned recognition as a 2006 Daktronics First Team All-Southeast Region forward.

Angus led the Lady Eagles to a 18-2-1 record in 2006 while scoring 21 goals and delivering nine assists. The Lady Eagles won both the South Atlantic Conference regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Southeast Regional tournament final. During her four-year career, Angus helped lead the Lady Eagles to the NCAA Division II Final Four in 2004 and 2005. She was named the SAC's Player of the Year in 2004 and 2006. She was named to the SAC's All-Conference first team in each of her four years at Carson-Newman.
