Lady Eagles Ranked 4th

JEFFERSON CITY, TN-- The 2006 SAC champions Carson-Newman Lady Eagles will enter Friday's NCAA Division II Southeast Regional as the fourth-ranked team in the nation. The Lady Eagles jumped three spots in the latest adidas/NSCAA poll.

The Lady Eagles will play 13th ranked Columbus State in the second game of the tournament on Friday while SAC foe and Southeast Regional second seed Tusculum will battle Armstrong Atlantic State at 11:30 a.m. The Lady Pioneers enter the regional tournament as the 19th-ranked team.
