Jan. 18, 2007 Nulph Named SAC Tournament MVP ROCK HILL, S.C.-- Carson-Newman midfielder Rebecca Nulph, who helped lead Carson-Newman to the 2006 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference women's soccer tournament title, was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Nulph, a senior from Lebanon, OH (Lebanon High School) was one of the Lady Eagles' most commanding players in the finals, and made several great challenges when Catawba threatened. Nulph was joined on the All-Tournament team by teammates Katie Perea, Jessie Stevens and Erica Stegner. The Lady Eagles host Columbus State in the first round of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional on Friday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.
