C-N Announces 2009 Women's Soccer Schedule
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Lady Eagles will play four participants from last year's NCAA Tournament and will take on defending NAIA national champion Lee University as a part of its 2009 schedule, head coach Phil McNamara announced Thursday.
After grinding through one of the toughest schedules in program history last season to make its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the road to the postseason for the Carson-Newman women's soccer team will not be any easier in 2009.

Moore Named NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-American
JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. - Carson-Newman senior Brittany Moore (Lenoir City, Tenn.) has been named to the 2008 NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-America Soccer Team, officials announced last week. Moore was named to the College Division Third Team.
Moore will graduate with a degree in Business Management, and has compiled a 3.76 GPA at C-N. She was the only South Atlantic Conference player named to the teams.

Three Lady Eagles Named NSCAA All-Region Team
Mission, Kan. - Three Carson-Newman Lady Eagles have been named to the 2008 NSCAA/Adidas Division II All-Southeast Region Team.
Senior midfielder Brittany Moore (Lenoir City, Tenn.) took first team honors, while sophomore defender Melissa Morris (Sweetwater, Tenn.) and freshman goalkeeper Lauren MacKenzie (Barrie, Ont.) were named to the Southeast Region third team.
