Aug. 3, 2007 MILAN, Italy-- The USA Athletes International team coached by Carson-Newman women's basketball coach Dean Walsh won their final game, 90-51 over Team Milano to conclude their Italian hoops tour. Walsh's team went ahead 20-17 after one quarter and opened it up with an outstanding 2nd quarter, outscoring Team Milano 28-4.Forward Emily Mason posted another double-double with 27 points and 22 rebounds while Lindsey Eggleston posted a double-double of her own with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Ashley Kyle had 10 points to go with 16 assists while Angela Volentine added 10 points and Tashea Ledbetter scored six points. "It was a great experience and trip for us," coach Walsh said. "It showed me that these young ladies worked hard to improve in the off-season. I am very proud of them in how well they represented themselves, Carson Newman, and the USA."
