AUBURN, Ala.-- The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles dropped their second exhibition game of the 2007-2008 season in a 94-52 loss to Auburn on Sunday afternoon.

Tykira McDaniel was the only Lady Eagle to post double figures with 10 points. Emily Mason scored nine points while Tashea Ledbetter and Ashley Tipton contributed eight and six points, respectively.

Carson-Newman shot 31% from the field and just 17% from three-point range. The Lady Eagles wrap up their exhibition season against defending Division I national champion Tennessee in Knoxville. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. from Thompson-Boling Arena.
