Matt Acton Position: Assistant Coach

Matt Acton enters his seventh season as the Lady Eagles' top assistant. A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Acton works with the team in their developemnt on the baksetball floor, conditioning, and recruiting.

Acton has helped recruit 14 All-South Atlantic Conference players, four All-South Atlantic region players, three Academic All-Americans, and two All-Americans in his career. He is very involved with many communicty service groups and events such as H.O.S.T.S (Help One Student To Succeed), Special Olympics, "Think Pink" WBCA Cancer Awareness, and Children's Hospital in Knoxville.

He resides in Jefferson City and is a member of New Market Baptist Church.
