JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman College Men's Soccer Team will be taking part in a special community service opportunity this coming weekend. The Eagles will travel to Nashville to do a clinic at Ultimate Goal Ministries this Saturday, April 19th, at 12:00 noon (CST). Ultimate Goal Ministries serves kids in the Nashville area who are interested in playing soccer and are unable to afford the cost of playing competitive club soccer. Ultimate Goal Ministries currently serves approximately 60 young soccer players from ages 5-18. Former Carson-Newman left back Kyle Frohock is the Director of Operations for the program. Both Kyle and his wife Tess are graduates of Carson-Newman. Kyle is a two time South Atlantic Conference Champion and a member of the first C-N and SAC team ever to reach the NCAA Elite 8. The clinic is free and a part of the community involvement program that the Men's soccer team has started this spring. Eagle fans can also catch the Eagles in action against NCAA Division I's Belmont University at 3:00 pm at Belmont's Soccer Complex.
