HICKORY, NC-- LMU's Jordan Green scored the match's lone goal 5:33 into overtime on a deflection off a corner kick to defeat Carson-Newman, 1-0 in the NCAA Division II Appalachian Regional at Lenoir-Rhyne College.

The ninth-ranked Eagles (14-2-2) and Railsplitters fought to a scoreless tie at the end of regulation in a game reminiscent of their 1-1 tie on September 6 in Harrogate.

LMU's Brent Cole tallied the shutout in goal while Carson-Newmans Tyler Baldock suffered the loss despite allowing one goal and saving five shots.
