MISSION, Kan. - Carson-Newman defender Thomas Ostvold has been named to the NSCAA/adidas All-America Team.

Ostvold, who was named to the third team, helped the Eagles finish with a 15-4-2 record and advance to the South Atlantic Conference tournament final in 2007. Ostvold was the Eagles' top defender and helped the team hold opponents to a 0.79 goals scored average for the season. He scored two goals and had one assist.
