Oct. 20, 2007 BUCKHANNON, WV-- Kapil Davis scored the game-winner in the 69th minute as the Carson-Newman Eagles earned a key Appalachian Region road victory, 1-0 at West Virginia Wesleyan. C-N (11-2-2) outshot Wesleyan, 22-15. Lars Holstad then found Davis with 21 minutes remaining in the game for the game-winner. Davis led the Eagles with three shots on goal in the match. Jordan Moore earned the victory in goal for C-N, collecting 11 saves. The Eagles conclude their road trip in West Virginia with a Sunday game against Davis and Elkins at 1:00 p.m.
