Oct. 2, 2007 BRISTOL, Tenn.-- Carson-Newman sophomore Chris Collins scored the tying goal in the 71st minute as the Eagles battled King College to a 1-1 tie on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles entered the game ranked #10 nationally and just having beaten #3 Lenoir-Rhyne 4-0. The Tornado battled from the start and eventually went ahead when Andy Kimball scored from 20 yards out. Up a goal, King continued to push, but Collins evened the match. Neither team could score in two overtime periods. The Eagles return to SAC play at Catawba on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m.
