ELIZABETHTON - Carson-Newman junior Brad Robinson carded a final round 66 to earn the 2008 East Tennessee Amateur Championship at the Elizabethton Golf Club on Sunday, July 6.

Robinson (Johnson City, Tenn.), who competed in the NCAA Division II National Tournament this past season, finished with a three-day total of 202.  

Tyler Lane (Dayton, Tenn.), a senior teammate of Robinson's at C-N, placed fourth with a 209.  Incoming freshman Blake Howard (Johnson City, Tenn.) tied for tenth with a 215.
