COLUMBUS, GA. - The Eagles golf team finished 17th in the Aflac/Cougar Invitational hosted in Columbus, Ga. at the Country Club of Columbus.

The Eagles were led by Blake Howard (Johnson City, Tenn.)who shot a combined score of 146, finished 19th individually. He was followed by Brad Robinson (Johnson City, Tenn.) who shot a 152 in the two-round tournament.

John Minor (Dandridge, Tenn.), Cory Hinchey (Abingdon, Va.), and Adam Holt (Liverpool, England) shot scores of 160, 161, and 162 respectively.

The Eagles look to their final tournament of the fall season at the Queens University of Charlotte Invitational on October 11, at the Pinecrest Golf Club, Hilton Head, S.C.
