Head Coach

Carson-Newman alum John Minor is in his fifth season as the head coach of the Eagles. He has led the Eagles to two team appearances in the NCAA Division II national tournament and the Eagles have been ranked both regionally and nationally throughout Minor's tenure.

The Eagles' best year came in the 2004 season as C-N claimed their first-ever SAC Championship. Minor and his wife, Merri Lou, have two children; John Jr. and Madison who is a freshman at C-N. The Minors live in Dandridge.
