Eagles Finish Third at SAC Championship
ETOWAH, N.C. --- The Carson-Newman Eagles slipped off of their opening 36-hole pace to finish third in the 2009 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship, which wrapped up Tuesday in Etowah, N.C. The Eagles finished the final day with a 311, after posting 293 in back-to-back rounds to open the tournament. [+]

Junior Brad Robinson is five strokes off the pace with 18 holes to play at the SAC Championships.

ROCK HILL, SC -- Carson-Newman junior Brad Robinson (Johnson City, Tenn.) and freshman Liam Ashby (Dublin, Ireland) earned men's golf All-South Atlantic Conference honors, league officials announced Sunday.
