JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman Eagles' scrimmage set for Wednesday afternoon in Burke-Tarr Stadium has been moved to Thursday at 3:45 due to the school closing for inclement weather Wednesday.

The Eagles will go at 3:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Carson-Newman will also scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Pigeon Forge High School as part of the 2008 Carson-Newman/Sportsbelle Coaching Clinic.

The list of 2008 football signees will be held until Thursday due to the school's closing.

Carson-Newman finished 10-1 in 2007 and shared the South Atlantic Conference title.
