JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- The Eagles built a 30-point lead in the second half en route to a 94-73 victory over North Greenville University at Holt Fieldhouse. The Eagles collected 18 steals with Scott Williams swiping four North Greenville possessions. Andrew Johnson led Carson-Newman with 15 points while Jesse McMurray scorched the nets with four three-pointers for 12 points. In his first game for the Eagles this season, Williams added 11 points while freshman Kevin Hare scored 10 points and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
