Wes Dozier Earned Co-MVP Honors In The Orange/Blue World Series

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.--The Blue team scored eight runs in the fifth inning en route to a 10-7 victory and win the Fall World Series three games to one.

Langdon Potts led off the fifth inning with a double and scored on a Jason Gray single. After a walk and a single, Zach Howell hit a double to score three more Blue runs. Potts would later hit his second double of the inning that added two RBI. The Orange team was led by Mills Rogers. The sophomore infielder went 2-for-4 with a homer and 3 RBI. Wes McIntyre picked up the win on the mound. Their was co-MVP's of the World Series. Wes Dozier and Nick Achberger earned co-MVP honors for the series. Dozier hit. 750 (6-for-8) in the series for the Blue Team and Nick Achberger hit .700 (7-for-10 for the Orange Team.

The Blue Team wins dinner at a local restaurant and the Orange team must run in a 5K race.

The fifth and final game will be played to determine a winner based on total score from all games. The Orange team holds a 3 run lead.
