Jeremy Yoder Earned The Win On The Mound With 6 K's and 0 walks

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- The Blue team scored five runs in the first, with five walks and two hits, for a 5-4 victory over Orange to take a 2-1 lead in the Blue and Orange World Series.

Wesley Dozier and Cody Nix each had RBI singles in the inning. Jeremy Yoder went five innings allowing just two runs, striking out six batters with no walks to pick up the win. Dozier led the Blue offense with a 3-for-3 performance and a run scored. The Orange team scored two runs in the sixth and tw runs in the bottom of the 7th and had runners on 2nd and 3rd with two outs. Charlie Hill got the last out to preserve the win. Mills Rogers led the Orange offense, going 3-for-4 with a double and RBI while Derek Long was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Game 4 starters are Wes McIntryre for the Blue team and Michael Elliott for the Orange. Game time is set for 3:30.
