EVANS, Ga. -- Carson-Newman junior Aubrey Morris (Chattanooga, Tenn.) posted a time of 24:41 to win the 6K Jaguar Invitational at Blanchard Woods Park on Saturday. Morris, an All-SAC performer in her first two seasons, won the meet by 28 seconds, finishing ahead of Columbus State's Isabel Speer. Senior Lisa Massey (White Pine, Tenn.) contributed a top ten finish as well, placing ninth, with a time of 26:24, while sophomore Tiffany Winchell (White Pine, Tenn.) finished strong as well, at 19th. The Lady Eagles placed 5th with 141 points. Columbus State won the meet, followed by host Augusta State and Georgia College and State. On the men's side, freshman Jonathan Madden was the top Eagle finisher, placing 24th in the 10K run Sophomore Wyatt Miles placed 43rd.
