Wingate, N.C.--The Carson-Newman College women's cross country squad placed eighth at the Wingate Invitational behind another top ten finish from All-SAC runner Aubrey Morris.

Morris finished fourth with a time of 24:19, her fastest time of the 2007 season thus far. Lisa Massey came in 25th with a time of 26:27 while Tiffany Winchell's time of 27:12 placed her 35th. Audra Jordan finished at 29:43 and Laura Young clocked in at 29:54. Melissa Ford rounded out the C-N contingent with a time of 31:24.
