The Carson-Newman Eagles won seven individual events and one relay at the Milligan Relays held last week. The event featured eight teams and a handful of former Olympians. Team scores were not kept. Freshmen Revel Coffey (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and Quentin Greenlee (Morristown, Tenn.) won the high jump and 100 meters, respectively, while junior Chris Patton (Johnson City, Tenn.) took the 110 meters title. Ronsae' Harrison, also a freshman, won the high jump. Freshman Brittany Sealey (Chattanooga, Tenn.) won both the 100 and 200 meters to lead the women, while fellow-freshman Abby Sponaugle (Greeley, Colo.) won the long jump on the women's side. The 4x100 relay team of Sponaugle, Chelsie Woods, Cris Hammontree, and Amanda Watts took first in the event. Carson-Newman's next meet will be at the Sea Ray Relays held at Tom Black Track at the University of Tennessee on April 9-12.
