2006-2007

Carson-Newman Dance Team

The Carson Newman College Dance Team seeks to entertain, perform, and represent the school as a spirit squad. The team not only tries to excel individually as dancers, but also academically. During Fall semester the Dance Team performs halftime at home football games and marches with the CNC Band. The team also performs at home basketball games and other occasional sporting events. Along with school sponsored events, the team competes in NDA National Competition in the Spring. The Dance Team is coached by Susan Cram-Smith, who also owns Turning Pointe Performing Arts in Jefferson City.
